Belarusian experimentalists DRWIWY recorded a track with Ukrainian neofolkers CASA UKRANIA

The song was recorded this summer in Odesa.

Vocals, instruments, lyrics by Nata Hrytsenko. Produced, arranged, mixed & mastered by Leonid Zhdanov. Features Arciom Vilejta aka Drwiwy (vocals, lyrics, guitar, hurdy-gurdy).

Musicians say: Ukrainian South is home to hot winds and freakish beasts of the Steppe, to salty air and vast expanses of dead wood eager to be set afire. To live in this land you have to make sacrifices, offer your precious lifetime to the greedy local godlings, and appease them with some special and peculiar music – unhurried, mystical and obscure, just the dark times we all live in. «Ofira» assembles material from 2016-2019, summarizing the long period of seeking our own subject and sound, balancing naturally on the edge between archaic and urban, but also marking the future of collaborations with friendly projects, Drwiwy and Zukkor Zzov.
