As terror.lt announces, "after 4 years with no physical releases, countless delays, changes of plans etc. I am proud to finally present the second release of this Lithuanian duo, consisting of Vilius (Lys) and Antanas (Gana2). They get unbelievably better with every live show and without a doubt, this release is a huge step forward in rough, harsh sound that Tiese builds so professionally. And here is the first album of TIESE. Also rude, straight noise with powerful influxes. 

As Lys, V. Šiaulys has released five albums of much softer, but also experimental music: Naunuee (2004), Ion (2004) ... Earth Oh Soil... (2011), Našlaičiai (2011) and Klaida Ir Užuojauta (2012). The last album is almost near noise music.

According to music investigator Tautvydas Bajarkevičius, "Antanas Dombrovskij is a drifter in between various sonic styles. Collector of eclectics and contemporary urban folk, mostly active in collaborative environments and projects. Remembered from exotic lodge of audio-experiment Virpesys – as one of it’s hosts, in the centre of Vilnius but under the ground – and still can be found there. Also active as an artist in the field of visual and conceptual art. Making music, especially unconventional sound structures, it’s quite common to search for the unique sound. Each musical instrument, technology and software has softly visible limitations and predicted codes of use, and - frequently - it's own sound nuance. Regarding this, one accepts some limits. Going further and beyond these limits you reveal yourself within complex zone of creativity, that extends the boundaries of sound and technology (or the instrument). Probably many of us got a recipe getting there. The work can be seen in the context of glitch aesthetics and productive use of the error. The sound of Yamaha synthesizer is transformed by hops of the electricity, using open wires. This unique sound material is sampled and processed in further sound manipulations. In this sense, like a prepared piano or modified software, a synthesizer is used as an individualized tool. Partially, the predicted and programmed possibilities of the instrument are explored like a kind of ready-made in generative sonic processes“.
